mission statement
| |
One of my goals is to provide a quality music education for each student. It has always been a privilege to witness the musical growth of my students through their private and group lessons, and participation in recitals and festivals. I hope that lessons will enhance my students’ lives by encouraging them to be independent thinkers, allowing them to express themselves creatively, teaching them how to successfully work towards goals, providing them with skills needed to play piano for years to come, and helping them gain an appreciation for music that will last a lifetime. |

about myself
| |
I established Lohman Piano Studio in Cedar Falls, IA in the fall of 2006, and have been teaching privately from my home since then. I have been presented with a wonderful opportunity to join the UNI Community Music School this fall (2008) where I will continue my private teaching on campus. I will also be an adjunt instructor for two group piano classes for the UNI music majors. I am really looking forward to sharing these experiences with my students!
